UNSW Astronomy Outreach Present:

Transit of Venus - Open Day

Sydney has the prime viewing position to witness the transit of Venus. It won't be for another 105 years that Venus will appear to pass in front of the Sun. This viewing event will be supported with invited speakers on topics of solar and exoplanetary science.

This event is open to the public.

Note: There will be a different location for first contact (8:16am). Meet at 7:45am on Physics Lawn to walk up to the roof of the CSE building. RSVP essential (numbers limited).
